Like it's so ghey, I can't lvl up fast, I'm only friggen lvl 2 and I've been playing so long, Anyone help me here...
Eagle1Fox2
Maybe you should try leveling up some other skills, I have 14 hours and im level 7
Pisces
Make sure the skills you are leveling up are your major skills wink.gif Not to mock you or anything but people did that with MW. Also if you are spending most of your times talking to people and hanging around in times and your not a merchant type character don't expect to level up fast, if you are a fighter you need to get out and go fighting to level up.

How to level up Mysticism?

I can answer that:
Cast Detect Creature spells

I am a stealth char and i don't have Mysticism as a primary, but i leveled it really fast just by casting this spell......

And it doesn't cost much magicka.....

what i did was, get a cheap mysticism spell, with low mana cost, put some heavy stone on my "c" key and watch a movie smile.gif When i came back my mysticism was up to 79 smile.gif

Nice trick, doesnt work for someone who picked the star sign where you can't regenerate magicka though

Why bother with the time? The console would do it in a second!

Don't use cheats people!!!

dude this was no cheating. I invested the whole time one needs to lvl up that far, i just wasn't sitting in front of my computer the whole period.

That's about the same.
You didn't FEEL the skill growing!
OH,i can tell some other skills to develop:Athletics,Sneaking,Acrobatics,Restoration, pretty much about everyhing....can be done that way.

YOU didn't invest ANY time doing this.Your computer did.You can't say:Hey i got this skills fair!I bored myself to death doing this!I DESERVE this stats! No,your compiter did it for you.....admit it.

Still, you are not damaging anybody by using this. It's a single-player game and you are able to do whatever you damn please.

I just want to note you that this is cheat.Every hard-core player will tell you the same.

ThanadoS
i bet a hardcore player would just do it my way, or fasttravel, or type teleport codes in his console, unless he can upgrade his day to 48 hours or something smile.gif

Me on the other side, i enjoy the game, alot, and cheating as a way of self betrayel (why cheat if i choose to play that game, for the game's sake?) i can't stand. Just using time efficiently, that is smile.gif

And just so you know i didn't feel all to well about this myself, i did it only once so far, only fasttravel if i have alot to do and want to get forward with the game.
HyPN0
How come that now we were talking about Fast Travel?
Fast Travel is something like Recall Spell (Morrowind) or Silt Strider,Mage Guide or Ship(Also been in Morrowind). It's actualy not anything new......

And about the cheat:Offcourse it's not OFFICIANALY a cheat because you didn't enter a console command, but still......Doesn't ir feel like cheating? It's like trainers in Morrowind:With some money you can easyly train yourself up 30 levels with some money.....It's not a cheat, but it's an unfair advantage in the game.

But hey,as i said you are able to do as you want:This is a Single-Player game and you are not damaging anyone. But trust me:When you finish the game, you will get that ugly feeling:Damn, something just doesn't feel right.....Would i still be able to beat the game if i didn't use the cheat?I probably could but.....Could i really?

Bit like the time i played through the whole of Jedi Outcast with cheats tongue.gif

I want to make a distinction,
RACKING is brainlessly mixing random potions as fast as you can, punching a lowly skeleton a hundred times or leaping/casting/running/sneaking into a wall for an hour with a rubberband or a rock.
CHEATING is using obvious glitches, console commands or button combinations.

There are more examples of both of course.

in TES games you kinda have to rack if you ever want to max out your skills. No way you'd ever get alchemy up to 100 carefully mixing usefull potions. And I wanna see all the dang effects.
In fact I want to max all my skills eventually, but not before I finish all the quests. I find great satisfaction in maxing out a skill.
damncrackers
i feel like im cheating if i cast a shield spell 20 times in a row, i couldnt do the rock thing, i hate even fast travelling when i am out of potions and need some to continue on a quest, but this game is what you make it, everyone plays differnt that is why it is so great, you make your own definitions up for what is cheating and what isnt,

What's so bad about fasttravel? You people seem to regard it as a cheat...
