Hello all, my name is Armitage and I have found your site via the Oblivion forums. I am an avid writer, and I would be very interested in submitting material for your website.

I do, however, have one question that I hope you can answer. Can you please suggest a site that contains a good deal of "TES" lore so that I may acquaint myself with the history and culture of the Morrowind setting?

While I am a fan of the Elder Scrolls, I have not yet had the opportunity to delve into the lore and background material as such. I would consider it essential for me to research a bit before I begin writing, so any assistance you can provide in this area would be greatly appreciated.

It's great to be here, and I am looking forward to reading the fan fiction that has been submitted so far. I intend to do so this evening (family permitting of course).

As an aside, I am a fair hand at editing as well as writing, so if you require any assistance in this area I would be more than happy to help.

hey and I would think that the official forums www.elderscrolls.com/forums would have a lot of lore in the lore setion.

G'day there!

As soulseeker said, the lore section of the official forums is a good place. Specifically, I would recommend checking out the lore FAQ there, which contains many answers to many questions, as well as many useful links.

It all leads somewhere, though. Two words; Imperial Library, The. IMO, the best source of TES lore and good reads in general about TES related things. wink.gif

And one of our administrators here, Sinder Velvin, is a librarian there. I'm sure he could offer you a great deal more and better guidance than I could.

If by website you mean the waiting4oblivion site, go ahead and ask the administrators (I could forward a request if you wish)! wink.gif

Other than that, we have, as you've seen already, the Fan Fiction section and the TES F'Ruum community mod section, all worth checking out and interested in your writings and editing assistance, I'm sure. You could perhaps speak to minque about editing assistance (your name in the sticky, maybe), and Troika if you're interested in writing or editing for the TES F'Ruum works.
Just speaking my mind of suggestions, of course. Have fun now. smile.gif

Thank you both for the speedy replies. I have bookmarked the links, and shall have a good read when I can dodge my boss.

Ahh, the Imperial Library. Invaluable tool right there.

They have everything, even the Morag Tong writs!

And the writs even have the cool symbol...
