What type of shop do you own. I am either going to sell enchanted items or rare dwarven and deadric stuff. Or maybe enchanted dwemer and deadric stuff.

*nods* I'm pretty sure all you can do is invest in peoples shops, so they'll have more money to be able to buy things from you.

hah, does that seem a little strange to anyone else? you give them your money so hat you can sell them things to get back the money that was yours to start with...

No. Here's how it works:
Let's say that you invest 1000 gold in a shop. Now the shopkeeper will have 1000 gold more than he would normally. The next time he runs out of gold, it will then recharge like it did in Morrowind (after 24 hours) but this time he will still have 1000 gold extra. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Think of it as though he's using that 1000 gold to expand his shop so now he has more money to buy things from merchants.
