I know with the increased traffic TES forums has been a difficult place to be lately. However when I went there about five minutes ago I got this error.

404 Not Found

The requested URL /forums/ was not found on this server.

I know what the error message means as well, usually you get a "Maintenance" or "Server overloaded" error. I thought it was wierd. If someone else brought this up, I'm sorry

This kind of thing happens all of the time. I think the reason that you can't download any of the countdown videos directly from the main elderscrolls page anymore because the entire site would completely crash like it did with the first one.

I'm sorry, but am I the only person who sees that this has nothing to do with Oblivion?

Just give him a moment to catch his breath. Besides... The few times I have been to the forums today it was all the same threads over and over...

Even if it is up tomorrow its going to be filled with nonstop... Its not fair some people have it threads and OMG I just got it threads.

I think you will be much happier if you just spend your last free day relaxing.. Personally I am going to give the house one last good cleaning and then go shopping for snacks/supplies for the coming week.

I wanted to read the Oblivion threads there.

Yeah, like I said the server there is being hounded this last week. I was wondering if anyone else got the same message thats all. Thanks for taking time to respond.

that doesn't really give you the privilege to spam up this Oblivion forum with problems about other Oblivion forums does it?

EDIT: heh, sorry if you thought I was being harsh but the anxiety created by the much-ancticipated release of Oblivion is killing me and also making me a bit rash and Impulsive

Yes, the forums keep going down. With the game about to be released there are so many new members joining that the server can't cope. It's been happening on and off for a couple of weeks now. Sadly I expect it'll keep happening for a while.
