Kult...den er kjempe kul....du bør save like før du snakker med Jaron første gang, ettersom vis du vil prøve ut de andre elementene, så trenger du ikke begynne helt på nytt igjen....fåreslår at du prøver lightning eller frost først...

Its not the best weapon out there, but was damn good. Especially since I never got GotY for XBOX and only used PC for construction kit
General Lee
Skull Crusher is a personal favorite. smile.gif
Tellie
Imust admit that the chrysamere is one of my favourite claymore's, but now that I think not only damagepotential and such, I like the Ice blade of the Monarch best...or...or...maby the fork of horripilation:D...youll never know...to many, cant choose

Heh, I haven't gotten my hands on the good stuff yet, so my vote goes to the glass longsword. Nice looking, good damage and I can wield a shield at the same time. And I got it on a discount at Ghostgate. Only downside is that it seems to get broken a bit too fast.

Turning to mods, my absolute fave is Galada. Right now it looks like a Glass Longsword (haven't found out how to get my own models in game) but it is so sweet! Soultrap, health absorption and paralysis. And the best thing is its range. Have you seen a sword that can hit people over ten feet away? Nothing beats waving your sword through the air and seeing your foe drop without ever being touched.

Second would be Feather, the amazing one-handed Daedric Dai-Katana. One-handed and as light as a bound weapon, love it.

I don't use the modded weapons a lot, I mainly keep them in my weapon collection back home, they're way too powerfull.

When playing as thief in Morrowind I had a steel saber which didn't change for anything. Not that effective, and it wasn't even light, but it suited my character so well.
Later on I made myself a saber called The Tooth of the Dark Thief, and had some vounding spell on it.

I sure do hope there's swords of that type in Oblivion too...

I've got a new favourite weapon that is not cheated, modded or anything else yet still kicks people's behind.

It is my precious demonic ring. With a great thank you to Galbedir who was so kind as to enchant it for me.

I've used the soul of the first Golden Saint I ever encountered and gave it constant effect bound longsword as well as about 8 points in fortify Strength. Result? A great weapon, more muscles and best of all, no smith needed! Whenever it gets a bit worn (takes a while, being Daedric and all), I just remove the ring and put it back on to receive a fresh sword to slice with. Love it. It was expensive though.
Sunboom
A Dwemer shortsword with an electric enchantment on it... I got it from the guy you must kill in the beginning of Morrowind (he killed the tax collector) and I used it a loooooong time biggrin.gif!
Magefire
Not sure I have a favourite weapon, but the ones I've used most are Goldbrand, Illkurok, ebony longsword self enchanted with shock, and the soul trapping short sword given as a reward for a mages guild quest

The longsword with shock damage that you get early in the game was my fave weapon until I got more uber stuff. I never go anywhere without the ebony longsword.

I'm always surprised that so few people mention Illkurok, as it's so useful - enhances your spear skill and gives night eye when equipped.

Least Useful: Magebane (it looks amazing but the Cast when Used thing is a bore), Daedric Crescent - I have used it but it looks cumbersome and runs out of charge like the Sword of White Woe.

Chitin bows - does anyone make them work to kill more than a mudcrab?
Soulseeker3.0
I like this sword, it looks cool and wasn' that bad, even if the enchantment was pointless.
Dreamer
Eltonbrand or the Black Hands Dagger.
Toroabok
my fav. is the daedric dai katana and the severed nord leg hehe biggrin.gif
The Metal Mallet
I'm surprized no one has mentioned Trueflame from Mournhold yet... that sword is uber! 1 handed too!

Stormcleaver was my favourite axe.

Sunder and Skull Crusher are tied for blunt weapons.

Black Hands Dagger and Tooth of Fanyakethet (sp?) for short blades.

Spear of Bitter Mercy for spears.
ugmung
i always liked to hit someone with the black hands dagger and just start running backwards to see them moan and stiffin up fall.
sorry i have a weird sense of humor
biggrin.gif
my second favorite is....damn i forgot the name of it. its another dagger i got in bloodmoon
blockhead
My fav is Chrysamere. I forget what the enchantment on it is because I never use it. There are not many weapons that do more damage. To me, it is the best-looking weapon in the entire game.

Piccy of my character with Chrysamere: http://users.bestweb.net/~pogo/piccy/rashelle_v2_armor.jpg

Damn, right! Chrysamere rocks! It's not a bloody katana (those are boring.), it's not an overblown overruned piece of polygons either. It's simple, and simple is good. Especially when simple means big overhand chopping. biggrin.gif Who needs Umbra or the Iceblade? Chrysamere owns them all.

The enchantment, I believe it was reflect 30% and a minor restore/fortify health enchantment on cast.
Pretty worthless, I agree. Just stick to the bashing and the slashing.

That is the game version. There's plenty of fun to be had with Chrysamere in stories. Playing pong with aggressive mages, anyone? wink.gif

Bah! You know nothing! Ice Blade is soo much cooler looking than Chrysamere, it's simple looking too and a much more effective weapon! tongue.gif
jack cloudy
In-game, yes. Story-wise, no. That frost enchantment is going to come right back at ya. Though I admit, the Ice-blade looks dang cool as well, pun intended.

And if I'm correct, Chrysamere is more powerful in a 'charge depleted' scenario.

Hmmm..ok I still like the DDK!...I don´t know why, maybe it´s because it´s so long and heavy...and by no means meant for a woman..hehe..that´s why Serene is just soooo good with it!

Isn´t she gorgeous?

I'm surprized no one has mentioned Trueflame from Mournhold yet... that sword is uber! 1 handed too!

The stats on this sword are rather impressive but the flame never lines up with the blade. It is ... detached, floating near the blade but not on it. That looks strange so I never used it.

that makes no sense at all...

I had a glitch in my xbox game when the flames weren't properally aligned with the blade (sticking out way infront), it was fine on PC though, which is strange cause usually the xbox was less buggy. When the graphics is in the right place I think it looks quite cool. It is noticable that the flames are in the same place in the blade rather than coming off the blade but I still think it looks cool.

I liked the mace of someoneorthing. The frost coming off it looks really cool, I wish iceblade of the monarch did that, perhaps there is a mod out there which does so.
The Metal Mallet
That sounds like the one you get in Bloodmoon. The Mace of Aevar yadda yadda. Yea, that one was a nice powerful one-handed weapon. Looked pretty neat for a mace too.
canis216
I'll just go ahead and take Kills-You-Dead, Always-He-Lingers-in-the-Sun's semi-legendary health absorbing daedric dagger. As Jack has noted elsewhere, you could wipe out all Vvardenfell with it before the charge wore off. Lucky for Vvardenfell that Heik-Auri is such a nice guy.
Ibis
My favorite weapon is the Dwemer crossbow which I use with some modded bolts that my hobby made called knockback bolts. One bolt can send a guar from standing on his feet on the road to sailing backwards over the fence beside it. Very fun.

One reason I am cross at Bethesda for Oblivion is that they didn't inclued nary a one crossbow. But I have run acrost a guy who makes throwing stars for Oblivion and am going to see if he can also make spears and crossbows in Obliv.
Soulseeker3.0
So yesh, even though I said that I liked the Bipolar blade, thinking about it I actually used the Eltonbrand and True Flame (Hopesfire wasn't bad either).
Gaius Maximus
I'd have to say a modded weapon, very light, enchanted with powerful stuff that can get any of the Ash Vamps in no time (All but Dagoth Ur, that guy's a friggin' health-box, having 1000 HP). I like to call it the 'Ashbane'. It has the appearance of an Ebony Scimitar from 'Tribunal', and Gaius Maximus (The in-game one, not to be confused with myself, the person) absolutely loves it.

If I had to pick unmodded, then it has to be... Imperial Steel Broadsword.

What? It's pretty cool... And simple...
Ibis
That sounds like a very interesting Oblivionish weapon made for Morrowind, Gaius. Is it easily downloadable?

And you are right about the sweet simple elegance of the Imperial Steel Broadsword. I have retextured it for one of my mods to go with a full set of DragonScale Armor taht I made and it goes along perfectly.
blockhead
Chrysamere is still my fav ... but recently I had my character try a daedric war axe, the big double-edged one. Most impressive! Does a lot of damage and seems to "move" as fast as Chrysamere does. It's got a higher maximum damage than Chrysamere but lower minimum damage. It's not bad looking either.

I thought I posted in here? Oh well, nm.

MW: Scullcrusher, Custom enchanted DDK and my secret weapons devilsmile.gif what can I say, vanity ftw.
Bolzmania
I have the same favourite as my mother (minque) Daedric Dai-Katana (DDK).
Here's some pictures of it: DDK
and an other DDK

I like Skull Crusher dunno why
Captain Hammer
Once I got them, I pretty much carried around Trueflame and Hopesfire. I made a mod fixing the oversight in Trueflame's speed rating (It is 1.35, both before and after pyroil application), and made both blades register as silver. Bloodmoon was fuunnnnn!

Even without the mod, I still used those two swords for everything but Werewolf hunting (I normally picked up a silver paralysis weapon). They had great damage output, decent reach and respectable speed, and they let me carry enchanted Daedric Tower Shields. Besides, fire and shock are resisted, but not completely immunized, by racial traits, and the effect of having a freaking sword that was On FIRE is just too cool to pass up. Seriously, Swords ON FIRE!!!!

Also, a truly magnificent weapon was Sunder. It had health, damage, and nifty enchantments for its use, making it perfect when dealing with spell-reflection monsters. Not to mention that in my first run-through on Tribunal, I discovered that Sunder could waste the Imperfect. I replayed the fight using other weapons, and nothing worked as well.
