I'm assuming that, since i have never seen these screenshots that a large number of people have never seen them either.

If all your going to say after seeing these screenshots is "this is old" (or something of the like) please dont post it or all you'll do is start arguments and decrease morale.

with that said, here is the Link to the screenshots.

the first screenshot is very beautiful indeedy. it's taken on what seems to be a depression in the landscape with Excellent lighting and tree graphics indeed (there also seems to be something similar to fog; but that could just be light thats filtering through the trees). oh and the plant growth on the forest floor? those plants are the best i've seen in any game, Ever.

the second screenshot has recently been released on the official website as a panoramic screenshot. it is very much like the first screenshot that i described.

the third screenshot is of your character talking with a guard. it has a few topic options on the bottom left of the screen (such as: rumors, directions, etc.). and in the bottom right it shows the towns name in which the guard is defending (in this case it's Cheydinhal)

the fourth screenshot is of a picturesque waterfall with a bridge that runs over it.

the fifth screenshot is of the new alchemy skill being utilzed to make a damage health potion

the sixth screenshot is of a gray troll using only his fists to attack the player

the seventh screenshot is of someone creating an orcish character with the new character creation sliders.

the eighth screenshot is of an orc wearing orcish armor (which was a medium-style armor in morrowind. i wonder if they never took the medium armor out as a skill?)

the ninth screenshot is of a very beautiful castle in the light of the setting/rising sun

the tenth screenshot is of an imperial in the fighters guild (nothing to special)

the eleventh screenshot is what seems to be the entrance to a dungeon/cave with beautiful flowers in the water.

the twelvth through the twenty-third screenshots are all concept art

the twenty fourth through seventy-ninth screenshots are all relatively old and we have all probably seen them at least once.

Yep those were cool and new, at least some of them. I agree, the forests and flora overall never seems to stop astonishing us.. It's just way out of any games reach as for today.. However I must say that I'm not entirely satisfied with that blue troll.. He just looks strange, doesn't seem to fit in the atmosphere and has some ugly moddeled hands.. Anyway, I guess they all look more alive and.. better when seen in action.

One more thing I noticed, the guard on the third screenshot seems like he is looking up at the character, that's really cool. I wonder if the "zoom in" we've seen when the PC starts a dialogue adjusts to the PC:s height, so that shorter NPC:s will have to look up to the PC like in the screenshot . (Or bigger and badder NPC:s look down on you with frightening eyes)

i'm sure that you've heard this countless of times with debates on other screenshots but maybe this is an early screenshot that they just now decided to release?

EDIT: you brought up a good point about the guard in the third screenshot that i failed to notice.

Well, we can always hope , but I'm afraid that won't go for all the weird things we see (even if they aren't many). Besides I wonder why they would publish an old screenshot so close to release-date, especially if the screenshot does not truly represent the game. Anyway, as I said, it's probably my superstition that makes me criticise the troll, I'm sure it looks just great in the game .

well they could be releasing images like that in hopes to make us buy the game expecting the worst but actually be very surprised to see that they have improved upon everything that the screenshots had shown us, therefore making us very very very happy with our purchase .

EDIT: i won't get my hopes up for the troll to high though

Ofcourse, that must be it!

And if not, then I'll just exterminate those trolls so I don't have to see them .
