Now the mainpage isnt working last time it was only the forums

The main page is still down.. but the forums give a down for maintenance message...

I always get too excited when they go down... I keep thinking there are making some major update to the site (hopefully with GOLDen news!!))

*Nods* That would be my guess as well. They were hinting at getting a new beefed up server to handle the increased traffic. Hopefully that is the case; having a big announcement about other things would be a very nice Bonus as well.
