Do you perchance have any links to visuals for comparison? I'd be interested to see the similarities

I still don't even know who this "Annie" is! Could you paste a link to one of her pieces too please?
And by the way, if her art "looks similar" then that's perfectly legal and fine, not even an immoral thing.
She doesn't have a requirement to tell us where she got her inspirations from.
It's slightly rude that you've come on here just to have a rant at someone's art that looks similar to someone elses....

Hmm annie's work can be found on the fanart section of waiting4oblivion.com
This is the piece in question

It is indeed of remarkable likeness and I believe in this case would be plagiarism since in this case it would require permission from the author and proper documentation for it.

people do that all the time.
So long as they don't try to sell it, then fine.

Yeah I guess you guys are right. I suppose I'm out of line. Forget I brought it up.

Normally i'm fine with 'rips' but those copies should really give credit to the original artist. People may copy all the time, fair enough, but that doesn't give it credence. I appreciate the skill involved in copying a piece of art directly and accurately - but again there must be credit of some sort to the original artist.
I'd be most peeved if someone ripped my art thats for sure lol

I agree with Darkwing.
I cna understand ripping from someon'es art if you then intend to expand on it further to make it truely your own. Even then you should seek permission from the artist to use their or a portion of their work. But straight up copies with out permission or accreditation is plagiarism.

As far as I know reproduction is allowed aslong as you put your own name under it, otherwise it's forgery. Although I'm not to sure about caling it your own. It's poor taste to pass it of a fan art at any rate.

I just removed the picture from the fan art page. The two works are so similar that it is obvious this is plagiarized. If it was inspired and adapted in some way, I would leave it on, but it looks more like a 1:1 copy.
