After being given access to the city by the odrinators, she and her escort made their way to the Telvanni area.

Amili moved the remaining things from her old room into her new one (Melkaan's old one.) and a few things she brought from Sadrith Mora as well.

She sat down at a desk and began writing a note.

Lord Megil,

If it would please you, I would like to request an audience with you. There have been certain happenings in House Telvanni that I am sure that you would like to hear about, and words should be exchanged regarding the relationship between our two parties.

She folded the note, pressed the seal of her house on it, and sent a messenger to Megil.

Endris -- Vivec


"Glad to see you're back," Endris said, standing right behind Amili (don't ask how he got there, he is an assassin). "Word on the street is that there is a vampire running loose," he said as he picked up a book and flipped through it, making himself at home, "You should be careful."

Lykaon

Lykaon dodged Osano's shoulder thrust, but it did force him to back up a distance, which played to Osano's advantage - he had the longer blade, even if it was heavier and thus slower. "I'm making this my business," Lykaon replied to Osano.

He turned his head slightly to the other man. "This man is a Vampire, and has murdered a girl, If you wish to actually be of assistance - get some damn Ordinators, otherwise get lost."

Osano -- New Vivec

"And just how do you know so much of vampirism anyway? Why do you concern yourself with a place where I could get cured from?" Osano asked as he swung his claymore in a wide horizontal arc at Lyakon.

Florodine, New Vivec




"Ordinators will be here shortly, and i can help fight him, i am Florodine, savior of the temple" he said as he lunged at osano, with his duel kopis's

OOC: Florodine is very famous, lycaon would have heard of him

Stauros->Caldera

Stauros sat on a barrel and finnaly took a look at the people they just freed.

"Hmm, They seem to be to scared to talk, its a small wonder really. I don't want to know what happened to them. Hey dalrus, A few of these look Hlaalu but some of them don't look like they came from the Bitter coast. Do you recongnise all of these faces Dalrus?"

Amili, New Vivec

"And Vampires aren't partial to fire, are they?" she replied, snatching the book away from Endris.

"But I'm glad you're here; we have business to discuss." Amili continued, referring back to an old proposition of an alliance between the Morag Tong and House Telvanni. And now with Melkaan out of the way, it could easily happen.

Endris -- Vivec

Endris smirked, "No I guess they aren't. Plus a friend of mine has engaged in combat with the vampire so it should be over with soon," Endris continued, "What business do we have to discuss then?"

Osano

Osano saw a man lunge at him from his side and redirected the swing that was headed to Lyakon towards the new person, "Don't but in!" he yelled, clearly getting annoyed. Osano wanted to fight the man in the wolf mask uninterupted.

Lykaon

When Florodine leapt into the fray Lykaon cursed. Braindead dunmeri...

"Books, studies, running into one too many in High Rock and Morrowind is how I know so much. I concern myself with cures bnecause I do not like seeing people suffer, but you seemm to revel in your Vampirism," Lykaon said, before swinging at the Vampire again.

"Florodine, stay out of this, you could get hurt. This is no ordinary run of the mill Vampire. He isn't as deformed as Morrowind's Vampires usually are...nor did the evening sun sear his flesh."

Osano

Without noticing if his attack had struck Florodine, Osano leapt back to avoid Lyakon's attack, stabbed his claymore into the ground, and using it as support spun a roundhouse kick at Lyakon. "So tell me, what would you have done had I not attacked you? Followed me and assassinated me? Engaged in conversation?"

Lykaon

Lykaon hopped back to avoid the kick. "Most likely conversation, followed by attempting to bring you for murder. And killing you if you resisted too much," he replied bluntly. "Why are you even in New Vivec? This is not a town for those hunted by men, or by the law, Megil sees nearly everything that goes on in this city. You could have done better in Balmora, or Ald Ruhn."

Osano

"What can I say, maybe I like a challenge? Maybe I like striking fear into the countless people here in Vivec? And who is Megil? How does he see everything?" Osano asked. He recognized the name Megil from somewhere, he just didn't know where.

Lykaon

"Megil is the ruler of this city, and he sees 'all' by a means no one knows of. Its a closely guarded secret of his, though its obvious spies and informants are part of this information network," Lykaon responded.

Amili, New Vivec

"Wait, I think this discussion belongs outside. We forget about those who may be listening."

She waved for him to walk outside with her.

On the way out, she grabbed a servant. "If Megil sends word, tell him I'm gone on pressing business and will be back very soon."

"Coming?" she asked, looking bak at Endris.

Endris -- Vivec

"Certainly." After they were quite some way away he asked quietly, "So does this 'business' concern Megil?"

Osano

"Well then I wonder why he hasn't swarmed Ordinators down upon us?" Osano asked, enjoying the brief moment between combat in which a bit of conversation could be held with his enemy. He used the time to catch his breath and size up his opponent.

Lykaon

"Well, maybe he decided it would simply be cooler to let us duke it out. Two swordsman fighting it out against the backdrop of a setting sun is a pretty damn dramatic picture afterall," Lykaon said, chuckling slightly. "Or his Ordinators run slow."

Osano

Osano laughed along with him, "Maybe a little bit of both? But enough of this," he said as he pulled his claymore from the ground and this time went into a defensive stance, "Shall we settle this?"

Amili, New Vivec

"Not directly." she replied once outside. "So what would you say to an alliance with House Telvanni. We spoke of it earlier, but we had an obstacle. Well, that obstacle--Melkaan--has been taken care of, and we can go through with it."


"Here's my offer; If your Morag Tong will work only for the Telvanni, we will pay you for the jobs you do for us, as well as for the jobs that you are offered by other factoins, but refuse."

Dalrus, Caldera


"No i dont recognize them, do you?" dalrus looked at all the faces very closely


Florodine, New Vivec



Florodine dodged the attack and waited and watched as the two fought

Stauros->Caldera


Stauros made a smile, "Well no I don't recognize them...I'm not the one running the city. I'm from balmora so even if they were from Caldera i still wouldn't recognize them." Stauros stood up, "Well we might as well get them into the Hall and get them fed, see if we can get them to talk."

ooc:well no my guy wouldn't recognize them... he isn't even from near there....

Endris

Endris scrathced his chin, "Well this is not a decision one makes in a moment, but I see nothing wrong with it at the time. Since you have been gone Redoran and especially Hlaalu have turned against the Tong, so I don't even think we will be getting requests from them," he stopped and looked at Amili, "I need protection. Supply me with mages--good mages. Hlaalu wants me ousted, and I think Megil still dislikes us. And, of course, your company is also always appreciated.

"Otherwise, I think we have a deal. But I'm going to remain in Vivec for the time being. To both see some things over, and eventaully the assassination."

Dalrus, Caldera



"Haha well i suppose you're right, however i think these men are from Suran area, judging by their bright clothing, of course its faded now. However up here, we wear either armor, or silvers, golds, browns, and blacks. Down south they use a lot more. Yes lets bring them there" starts leading them

Stauros->Caldera

Stauros caught up to Dalrus, "That makes sence but what would they be doing all the way up here? I mean, with all do respect, your city is briliant but it isn't like you have a special artifact here, wouldn't they go to Molag Mar or Vivec for that?" Stauros looked at Dalrus and raised an eyebrow, "Do you have a an artifact here that I don't know about?"

ooc:I changed my mind.. i'll stay on for a while

Amili, Outside New Vivec

"The mages can be arranged, but if they are, then I also want a few assassins sent to Sadrith Mora; I now have an ashlander problem that needs to be dealt with." Amili realized that this needed time;both sides needed to think it through and work out the details.

"How about this; in two days, we'll meet again in Caldera to discuss this further, so that questions and demands and the like can be prepared."

Lykaon

"Very well," Lykaon replied. Unexpectadedly he leapt into the air, landing only a few feet behind Osano and turned, slashing with his Katana horizontally, the blade shining in the dimming sunlight.

Dalrus, Caldera


"No i dont think we do... and even if we did, Molag Mar, and Vivec, are much bigger, and much richer. And like i said, even if we did, no one would know about it." Dalrus said as if she were hiding something. She quickly changed the subject. "Well anyway, we have to get these men better cloths. The bandits were here for their own reasons, and these prisoners won't say anything." she said as she opened the govenors hall


OOC: Alright hasta luego, dormes bueno, im not sure if i said that right, Megil?

Stauros->Caldera

"Uh yeah..." Stauros walked through the door and led the ex-prisoners to the kitchen and saw to it that they got some food. He got two guards to stand in the kitchen, just to be sure and that if something happened the people wouldn't be left alone.

Stauros left the kitchen with two sandwiches and found Dalrus in the main hall.

"Here I brought you something to eat, I thought you would be hungery." Stauros pulled two chairs up to a table sat down. "Well anything important coming up?"


ooc:I just noticed I have my char sit down, lean, etc alot.... :also this is probebly my last post as well, unless I get really bored and can't sleep

OOC: there is a morag tong in telvanni lands, so there are more than likely assassins already in sadrith more

Endris nodded as Amili spoke... "Caldera, two days then? I will be there, but what will you do in the mean time?" He asked.




Osano

The move was good, it caught Osano off guard. The problem with long jumps however: once the jump is made, it's easy to predict where the person will land. Osano judged that Lyakon would land behind him, and in a split second spun around, sword trailing in a swing aimed right where Lyakon would land.

Problem was-- and Osano knew this-- he had nothing to block Lyakon's incoming attack. Normally, it might have been fatal; but Osano's spin caused Lyakon's blade to connect with his higher shoulder. Osano's armor would have stopped the blow, but the sword hit where the armor jointed and gapped.


OOC: sry if its a bit confusing, basically, you hit osano in the shoulder, but your in a bad position, because your sword is stuck his shoulder you have nothing to block his attack.... well goodnight.

Dalrus, GH (Govenor's Hall from now on)



"Aw thanks," Dalrus said taking the sandwich "Well nothing that i know, and i'm sorry about being so mysterious about the artifact earliar, however i cannot reveal it. I don't even have enough power to use it, Yet" Said Dalrus after swalloing a bite

"I think we should stay here for a few, days, and i was wondering if you would like to find a spot up in the hills where we could put our stronghold?"

Stauros->GH

"Yes, well i'd like to see the artifact eventually. But on to the stronghold, IF we put it right on the cave we just cleaned out we could use it as a wine celler." Stauros smiled and took another bite, "Then we would need a wall so no bandits that would want the cave could gat in easy. Also mabey if we get a couple Hlaalu versions of the towers in Ald'Ruhn, you know oh brick instead of dirt or whatever. Other then that I don't know. How about you?"

Dalrus, GH


"Hmm yes perfect, and i also have a new style of armor for our personal knights, it is made of steel, which i like better then bonemold, and over their armor there is my crest, a sword being grabbed by a hawk. We could place this on all the army to show that they are in the caldera army. This crest will be placed on the castle. The whine cellar idea is superb, and it could also hold any people who could retreat there from caldera if war comes"

OOC: florodine you are so off abse it was painful. though the message you wanted to say wa simple i suppose the translation is rather complex. "que duerman bien" or "que tengan una buena noche" would have been better.
Megil-HOJ

Megil observed the fight he smiled as he heard the conversation that occured between blows. this was simply a fight to test their opponent, it was not likely to end in a death.

"Lady Amili wishes your council though she is currently occupied with Endris of the Morag Tong." it said

OOC: Spanish expressions don't folow the rules of the actual language a lot of the time sometimes there's many words in between that a fluent speaker automatically assumes it's there. Thanks for telling me though.


Florodine, New Vivec



Florodine was intriqued by this interesting fight., he watched with excitement as lycaon jumped in the air and hit the shoulder of Osano. Then he remembered something he had seen two days ago near Molag Mar, and he walked over to a messenger and told him to tell megil...

"Megil, two nights ago, we saw something black, a dark figure, heading towards here, we weren't sure what it was, but we tried to track it. It was foggy, and that thing was too fast. But i wouldnt be surprised if it came here, so keep your eyes peeled" Florodine said concerned "oh and can you tell me where Amil is?"



The Silhouette, New Vivec



The Silhouette had been in the sewers for quite some time, where was judd vrahl, he was supposed to attack right then and there, however the Silhouette waited, and hoped Megil would come near, otherwise he'd have to go to Megil...

OOC: Actually, you conjugated those wrong. It should be duermen, because dormir is an IR verb. And it should be Tienen because tener is an ER verb and it stem-changes. (assuming he was talking to more than one person, if he was only speaking to one person, it would be different conjugations.)

Or, I just thought of it, if it was supposed to be future tense, it would be tendran (accent on that a)

"I'll be around. I have to deal with Megil now that I'm here, as well as come up with some terms of our agreement."

"wow our own guard? hmm not a bad idea." Stauros finished his sandwich and stood up. "Well mabey we could talk more about this, how about you take care of the ex-prisoners and I am going to lok for Delfran.

Dalrus, Caldera



"Very well, however there is no use anymore, they are clothed, fed, and there's nothing more to do except send them home" dalrus said as she went off in search of them.

"yeah okay see ya, best bet is the sitl strider." Stauros went out the front door and twards the pub they were at the night before.

Stauros walked throught he pub door and went to the bartender. "yes hey have you seen a Dunmer around here? He came in with Dalrus." Stauros slid 100 gold over onto the bar

"Ah yes he rented that room for the night." The bartender pointed over to a corner room.

"Thanks" Stauros walked off tward the room.

"It was a pleaseure doing buissness serjo Stauros."

Stauros unlocked the door and walked in to see Deflran and a Breton sleeping. Stauros walked over to the bed and woke Delfran up, "Not one day in the town and you are already with some woman?"

Delfran managed a weak smile, "Uh well she was just showing Caldera kindness by buying a drink and then I bought the drinks and then it just took off from there."

"Yeah what ever, while you were fraternising with Calderan habitants, Dalrus, the calderan army and I were cleaning out a bandit cave. Dalrus thinks it was Redoran but I think otherwise/ I want you to take this message to a women named Serene who-"

"Yes I know you've spoken of here over the years, a very good Redoran friend who lives in Ald' Rhun." Delfran said cutting Stauros off.

"yeah well here." Stauros handed him the letter and headed tward the door, "Oh and one more thing, don't just abandon the woman." Stauros left the room adn shut the door and headed back to the Govenors hall.

ooc:Florodine, I was talking to Dantrag... Amilli and Endris are going to meet in Caldera in a day or two. which will cause problems. A hlaalu noble who is also an assasin is seeing the leader of Caldera and Stauros wants to keep his alter-egos seperate.

Megil-Chamber, Undercity

A spine tingling feeling crept up Megil's back, and his mind was suddenly overwhelmed with the thoughts of sylphs who had smelled, seen, or felt the presence of the moldair in the sewers. The young boy looked at Megil with his dead eyes,
"The Moldair returns to fight you once more Lord Megil, though it would seem this time he wishes to occupy you while another attackes the city,"Megil grimaced,

"Never a day of peace in this town. Why does he keep coming back, does he not understand that I just want some peace and quiet," he said to himself, he then thanked the boy and turned to leave, he made his way through the undercity and emerged in his office. He picked up a quill and wrote down the following message on the parchment,

I want you to spread a message to the entire system. I want the Ordinators to be extra alert tonight and possibly for the next few days. I want extra sentries on all the shifts, and additional protection along the walls and water front. We are to proceed with defense protocols, as we may be attacked again upon this eve or tomorrow. Special untis should also be notified though they are not to be called out to battle unless there is no other choice. I may be occupied during this event so allow self activation mechanisms to be established.
Lord Megil

He stepped out of his office and placed the parchment under the clerks nose. he examined it for a second then looked up at Megil in surprise,

"....Are you sure my lord?"

"yes"

"Very well, I should tell you that LAady Amili wishes to speak with you, adn that Florodine has sent a message ragerding a dark figure," she said as she immediately began scribbling on several pieces of parchments that would head to other offices and begin the signal transduction pathway, within the hour Vivec troops would be mobilized. She burned the note Megil had handed her. all such messages would be destroyed as they were recieved. Gathering the papers she ten left her desk and was soon briskly walking down the hall giving the recipients their letter. The notes would provide only th erequired information for the specific unit. Everything would fit in like a jigsaw puzzle, but none other than Megil would know what the other pieces of the puzzle was doing.

In the meantime Megil left the HOJ and headed for his manor, he contacted the moldair telepathically, Amili would have to wait, and Florodines message was ex post facto now.

"I do not know why you keep returning, but if you wish to fight me you must meet me outside my manor for that is where I will be,"

He quickly donned his armor and sword, strapped his bow and Azura's quiver to his back, and then left the manor and went into a meditative state outside the gate, Awaiting his foe.

Dalrus, Caldera



Dalrus quickly walked down the long halls of her richly decorated palace. There were many people there, walking to-and-fro from different rooms. They all bowed to Dalrus as she walked past them. She came down to the large kitchen, where the prisoners were eating a mid-day snack. Again they all bowed to her as she entered.

"Now, i know you have been through a lot, and are eager to get out of the north. However i don't know where to by a ticket to if you dont tell me where you are from" said dalrus officially.

"We came from Suran, by the pilgrims road" said a darker dunmer


"Very well, i thought as much by your attire, now here is a sack of gold, enough for ten tickets for Suran, however if you spend the money on prostitutes and alchahol, you will not be given any more," Said Dalrus sincerely, for she had given former prisoners money before, and it didnt end so well.

"Now i must go, and find my armorer, the troops are almost ready" she said paying no notice to the fact that they were oblivious to what she was talking about. She headed down to the basement where hundreds of steel armor plates, with the crest of a hawk carrying a sword were on cloaks placed over the torso. It was a magnificent sight, and Dalrus thanked the armorer. Soon the soldiers lined up down there to attain their new armor. Dalrus ran outside, to where a new unit was in testing, kagouti riders. She had ridden one before and enjoyed the speed and ability to have height advantage. Around fifty others were in the new unit, and they were he fifty best knights she had. Soon she walked back into the Govenors Hall to attend to other business



The Silhouette, Sewers NV



The Silhouette hated Megil, nothing would convince him otherwise, it was in his moldair blood to hate him, and as a silhouette it was especially hard.

"Peace? The word sickens me, you will die by my sword, or leave these lands," The Silhouette took out his katana and licked the remenance of blood off it, he then waited for the attack of Judd

Stauros->Caldera

Stauros walked outside and made his way up to the Govenor's Hall, Stauros walked in to see the prisoners leaving. He walked into the Hall and found a guard

"Hail, were is Madam Dalrus?"

"Ah yeah she went to the training feilds to check on the kagouti riders The last time I saw here anyways."

"Kagouti riders!? What in the blazes?" Stauros made his way to the door and found his way to the training gorunds. Stauros found the grounds but didn't see Dalrus anywere.

Stauros flagged down a knight with Dalrus' crest, "Yes were is Dalrus I was told she was out here."

"Ah so your the lucky man who is seeing her, I'd want to know were she is to if I were you." The man smiled

"No, well,yes , but... I'm on a wild goose chase, just were is she?"

The knigth chuckled, "aye, She went inside for somethin."

"Thank you." Stauros walked off, "Stupid knights..."

Stauros made his way inside and a guard called out, "Ah serjo Stauros, I just saw Dalrus wlak that way."

"thanks." Stauros grumbled and walked in the guards direction, hoping to run into Dalrus soon.

Delfran->Pub (and anyone I need to be)

Delfran laid in bed untill the Breton woke up, "What was that Delfran? I heard someone."

"Yeah I have to go run an errand for Serjo Stauros, the Balmora delegate."

The Breton put on a frown, "Couldn't he do it himself?"

"Well, I don't know, but I will be back soon, mabey three or four days at the most." He leaned over and kissed her.

She smiled, "Well okay thanks."

Delfran got out of bed and pulled on his pants, "Yeah and here." He tossed her a bag of 500 gold, for untill I get back." He said pulling his shirt on.

The Breton caught the gold and got out of the bed as well. "See you soon." she said putting her own cloths on.

Delfran waked and started tward the door, "Bye." Delfran eased out the door and shut in behind him adn headewd out the door and headed tward the northern gate.

Dalrus, GH



Dalrus walked briskly down the halls of the hall, but looked behind her and found a very flushed looking Stauros, she turned and smiled at him

"Hello, how'd your meeting with delfren go?"

Stauros->GH

Stauros gave Dalrus one of those looks, "Oh that was fine I found him in the Shenks Shovel. It was you I couldn't find, I was told you went outside then I was told by some knight that you came back inside. I Don't like wild goose chases...(what ever a goose is ). SO I see that you are training kagouti riders."

Dalrus, GH



"oh so i take it he's enjoyed he stay in caldera" dalrus said with a laugh. im sorry you went on a goose chase, i've been busy all morning, and yes those kagouti riders are magnificant. I used to ride horses back wehn i visited my imperial father in cyrodill, and loved their speed and beauty. So i tried it with kagoutis and it workd. Now what should we do?"

Stauros->GH

"well, I've never riden anything other then a silt strider, Sooo what do ya say?" Stauros smiled

Delfran->road to Ald'rhun

Deflran headed out the northern gate and followed the road, looking at all the flora. (wow this is gonna be boring if I keep doing this )

Dalrus, Caldera



"What do you say we go for a ride" Dalrus said. She dashed off not waiting for an answer, leaving Stauros to come if he chose. She felt less official now, her mind was light and she thought about stauros, the doors were slammed open and she called for her prized kagoutis

Stauros->GH

Stauros looked down the hallway she just went through and smiled. He himself walked down calmly, "heck by the time I get down ther they sould have the beasts out and saddled."

Sure enough when he got there he saw they were already out and he walked up to one. "So how are you suppose to mount one of these things?"

"It took you long enough, though i suppose it gave me time to call for them," Dalrus said with a smile " just get on those stirrups, and you'll be fine, these are very very fast, if you've ever been on a horse its about the same speed." Dalrus said as she spun her kagouti around (his name will be Ryyden from now on)

Stauros->caldera

"well I haven''t seen many horses I grew up on the Highrock-Skyrim border. But i don't really want to talk about it." Stauros frowned, "Anyways like this" he put his foot in the sturrup and swung onto his ride. "Hmm that wasn;t so bad, now how do I turn this thing around?" Stauros asked quizically.
