As promised, Bethesda has now updated the Codex part of their website. They've added a new book, and they've updated the race info. Most prominent new addition there are the new maps, including a map of Cyrodiil with all the cities on it!

Its not an issue. Personal commentary is exactly what I want.

By the way the first letters spell out GREEN EMPEROR.
Other than inexperienced what could green mean?

The first words spell out this sentance...
Greetings
Reader

Every
Night
Enter
My
Palace
Endlessly
Roaring
Offering
Red-drink

The Daedric symbols say DAGON. This looks like the something by the Mythic Dawn Cult. The ones who possibly assassinate the emperor.

There is a place called the "Green Emperor Road", a path in the courtyard of the Emperors Palace. It's a bunch of talking, living topiaries of the heads of the past emperors. Beyond that, I'm not sure.

Anu and Padhome are "Stasis and Change", parents(sort of) of Akatosh and Lorkhan, respectively. Considering the destruction of Lorkhans heart in Morrowind, perhaps this has something to do with it.

I'll guess that the New Dawn is the Dawn of a New Era. I'll have to go back and read all of the dialogue from the Mythic Dawn Cult people. I would say that this will certainly pertain to them. The lore in this game sounds to be fantastic.

QUOTE
Greetings Reader, Enter:
Every night enter my palace, endlessly roaring, offering red-drink.

If a palace of night, it may be Nocturnal's "palace":
"Nocturnal, whose sphere is the night and darkness; who is known as the Night Mistress."

If a palace of dreams, it may be Vaernima's "palace":
"Vaernima, whose sphere is the realm of dreams and nightmares, and from whose realm issues forth evil omens."
That last part reinforces your idea a bit, mayhaps.

The Book of Daedra

I'm pretty confident GREEN EMPEROR means nothing more then 'new emperor'.

Offering Red-Drink ? maybe Blood.
Maybe
"Come New Emperor, Bring Four keys and Enter My Palace , Offer me Red Drink , Blood Of the Emperor , Dragons Blood To renew The Packt.(As long as Dragon Blood runs in the Ruler , Daedras Can't Attack)
And I suggest that Every Night Means that Every Emperor must perform this task, and Endlessly Roaring that this will continue Endlessly? wacko.gif smile.gif any suggestions?

The last and second last paragraphs lead me to believe the author is a very powerful Daedra or god, and has traveled to Akavir. Actually, now that I think of it, has anyone become a dragon in the TES world?

Tosh'Raka was the first and only Ka'Po'Tun (Tiger folk of Akavir) to become a Dragon. And the only person to ever become a dragon.

But that doesn't matter. Dragon's blood is a referance to the emperor's blood, as the Empire's symbol is a red dragon.

I know, I was just reffering to the fiction as a story, not a page of secret hints and riddles. Also, I wasn't talking about the Dragon's blood. This fiction sure is interesting.

Wow that is interesting! Finally an update that does not disappoint me. I really prefer the artwork to the old Morrowind graphics. As for the book... Hmmm. It is very intriguing. Though it seems to be of a philosophical nature there may be more to it.
