So I saw everyone's wonderful works of art and decided to show off the two best drawings I have ever done.......mostly I draw stick figures. Both of them are about Beowulf, oddly enough. I did them last year in English. *sniff* I miss that class.......Anyway, I don't have a scanner so I just used my digital camera.

anyway, this was a project I had to do. I had to depict a passage from Beowulf, and chose the part where he is fighting the sea monsters. I think he looks kinda cool. Sorry for the glare. I had no idea crayon glared like that!





This one is uber cute Grendel. This was just a doodle I did when I was bored during class. Look at Beowulf on the right side.....teehee

Those are, without a doubt, two of my favourite pieces!
The Grendel is foxy -- his fur sparkling shadily in the <- sun -- and the roar of the sea-monster echoes brilliantly through the artistically applied crayon-glare.

When I pick up Beowulf again, here's two illustrations I'll take with me in the immersion.

For those of you familiar with Homestar Runner, hopefully you recognize the dragon to be Trogdor.

I wish I could've gotten a picture of it at night, but on Halloween night it was raining so I couldn't light the pumpkin.
Guess I'll have to redo it next year.

I saw the uber-cuet beowulf in the ES chat the other day, but the colored-up sea-monster depiction is new to me. Good stuff, I enjoyed these two, especially since I just had a quiz on beowulf in my english class (not sure why we decided to read that :/).

I need to draw more often. This is inspiring
