thanks for the comments so far smile.gif to do metal-reflections is quite fun to do but I usually find it a bit complicated to give it a realistic look

Yes very nice indeed smile.gif maybe try a reflection glinting off the right hand side in the darker zone? Possibly apply a chrome-esque textural layer with a 50% alpha on multiply and then soft erase the bits you dont want?
Alexander
it looks awesome, well done smile.gif

Photoshop masters...

In photoshop you can add layers, adjust their transparency (aka Alpha) and alter how they appear on the layer below (many options, one of which is mulitply)

Then on this layer you concoct a chrom/metallic-esque tecture/image.

Then once you have the parameters right, you can just soft-erase the layer as you see fit until the image looks how you want it to.

smile.gif
I understood some of it, but I'll stop asking for a better description as there is no real point...

Will the new forum see the rise of a...tutorial?
Ambberfox
hm, probably... I won't be here the next three weeks (holidays), but you can expect a tutorial at some point when I'm back. :ashamed:

Rane
Oh, and who's Dagoth? :ashamed:
Voryn Dagoth, aka Dagoth Ur. Leader of House Dagoth/The Sixth House.

The bad guy of TESIII. Can be found in his citadel in Red Mountain.

He's from... the main quest, right? I remember him being mentioned by a few people... (I haven't really continued the main quest apart from giving the package to that guy in Balmora).

I feel so... er, noobish? :paperbag:

I've only beat the main quest once, and I've had the game for about 2 years, I believe...so don't worry about it.

Yes, he's the "final" boss.
gamer10
Yeah, I've never even given the package to that buy in Balmora.
Chumbaniya
Horay for not doing the main quest! More often than not I just go to Balmora, get the free money off Caius, then completely ignore his orders and go and become a guild leader biggrin.gif
Mazuk
I have beat the main quest a couple of time but lost my other characters. So with the one I have now I have beat the main quest and finally beat the bloodmoon one. Now I still haven't figured out the Tribunal thing. Its all good and still like walking around.
