i think bethseda have gone weapon mad first they take out crossbows, throwing weapons and spears before we know thel get rid of swords!

yes all we will have are those forks when bethesda gets done with the weapons....

Didn't you hear? Due to lack of resources and personnel they were forced to take out all weapons. Even your character's hands were removed. And your character's feet. Just to make sure you don't go around harming anyone. This will truly be a game for pacifists.

Seriously though, Bethesda chose to take out crossbows and throwing weapons. They also stated why. If spears are left out as well then I assume they have their reasons.

So, despite feline presence in this thread, I feel obliged to put it to rest.
