not sure why I had that happen, but it just seemed fitting. hey at least my char isn't almighty and powerful. I'll have him feel better ina bit, and then him and Rann can go work on the neat stuff.

Heh, I did make Archer pretty powerful... great pilot, great speaker, great fighter... he's a triple threat. Only thing is his ship is sort of hard to control (he'll become better at it is the story progresses) and anyone with an armor piercing gun could kill him since he carries no fire-arms.

Wes Hansek's weapon is his mind though, he usually doesn't fight.

well i'm not saying your chars are too powerful, just that we tend to focus on our chars good attributes and not on their weaknesses. I.E. my char is a genius, but he is still a college kid. and as we see he does stupid things, though this is not going to be a common thing.

Yeah many people do, I always try and look at my character's weaknesses and strengths and create a balance. There's a drawback to every one of my character strengths except for maybe Judd Vhahl, but Judd Vhahl is the only one of characters who isn't a tragic hero so he's an exception.

My character's weakness is mental illness. . . .

Well, it's like, all your characters are really power and really insane.

Wrong on one, right on two.

They aren't really powerful. They act like big shots, but they get beat down easily. They're insecure.

I can't argue with the insane part however.

Could it be possible that this one's character is the mentioned smuggler? He has a reason for knowing the Peace Fighter's locations as he's one of their suppliers.

it makes sense to me, Juac is checking in on satyana's space station. i'm sure they had a distress call after the attack. and he hasn't recieved a signal telling him the criminal has been subdued

Nothing wrong with it, I just didn't understand the bigger picture because I wasn't aware it wasa response to that particular distress signal.

I was thinking the same thing, but I guess the military could still use smugglers to keep it on the DL as to avoid raids for the stuff. dunno might be enough of a justification.

We'll go with that, seeing as it would take about a page worth of editing.

Okay, lets say the distance from Pluto to the Sun without a warp-gate is like 2 weeks, so when travelling around outside a warp-gate. Since the planets are not aligned, they're pretty scattered. When roleplaying distance, its just sort of weird to go from pluto to mars in like two minutes. So a scale of two weeks outside a gate between pluto to the sun might be good to understand the proportions for the entire solar system.

heh, sorry but I don't know the time differences, like what a day equals... 2 real days? one week?

No we don't need to to do that at all, but if you're roleplaying 2 weeks of travel, role-play two weeks, that's my suggestion.

O.o may i also note that we are in space, time varies a lot depending on where you are around the sun. O.o I guess we are still going to go by "earth" days and the like.

so do individual shis have (still have?) warpdrive or what ever its called? I think that would be easier.

Well, it's doesn't quite vary enough to really count it. In a story I invented with included my PVW (in the story it was called the Pereias, which Iw as going to dopy over for this game but realized the technology for my story was so advanced it'd sort of be a dumbed down version of the Pereias) I actually had it escaping a fleet of ships by diving into Jupiter, and the intense speed and gravity that it obtained (followed by a greta resistance it used to propel itself back up) and excaped the fleet by fast forwarding in time about two hours.

...anyway i need to address another thing about this rp.
1stly: planets still have atmospheres, right? they are just inhabitable so the humans live in domes. so my guess is that these atmospheres act similar to earth's, right? well on earth in order for something to fly it needs wings, and i am imagining some of these humungous cruisers being wingless ships like from star wars... thusly, i dont think one of these things could enter the atmosphere of a planet without falling like a rock. unless they had some sort of anti-gravity thing or engins pointed downwards....yeah....

2ndly: whats the year? 3000 something? wouldn't humans have found a way to make mars' air breathable by then? i mean thats a long way in the future, it seems like we would have figured something out....

to answer you question, yes the planets still ahve atmospheres but few are as substantial as the earths O.o. and also few have a gravity quotient as strong as the earth correct O.o dunno im not an astrologer.

I'd still think domes would be required as the gravitational pull fo mars is nto substantial enough to maintain an atmosphere... at least I don't think so.
