What in the flying hamster is nintendo doing... usually I'm all for change but... I'm speechless
ShogunSniper

Also in another article, if you do some simple math you find out that WoW is bringing in over $800,000,000 for teh company.

OMG, I wish I could of bought stock in Blizzards parent company before this game went global wacko.gif

WTF!? that is stupid! why would anyone want to play a video game on a remote controll???
Megil Tel-Zeke
Aye I saw this a while ago... needless to say I am not sure what is happening to nintendo.

but on brighter news PS3 launch confirmed for Spring'06 ^ ^ at least in japan sad.gif later in the year and mayb even spring '07 for U.S. and europe.
Wurlon
Nintendo's people really do suck at inventing things that people actually like.
Intestinal Chaos
Great, now I'm going to have to worry about my arm getting tired while playing games too. Still slashing a sword around in precise areas would be fun by shaking around the controller. But for the most part I agree with Wurlon. Can we all agree that Donkey Konga sucked? Or that bizarre game with the taiko drums. Orginality doesn't always equal fun.

Have you read the entire article?

Pherhaps doing so will shed more light on the controller smile.gif

Personally, I've been a Nintendo fan for a large part of my life, they've always taken their own route to succes it seems and the revolution will be no exception.

I can't wait to play with it, I really think it has the potential to become something big smile.gif

Me and alex might be the only ones that think it's cool.

I think that controller would add a new kind of realism and fun to video games.

However, I think they should also have normal controllers as well. How could we play fighting games on that thing?

Okay true It does sound a bit rediculis but I quess it is better then first glance

I don't know.... But I wont be able to get it anyways... seeing as I'm poor tongue.gif
DoomedOne
Like I said before, I think I'll get a cramp trying to use that in action heavy games. I like Nintendo. I own NES up to GC and no other type of system escept I jsed to have an old sega genesis. The controller has me worried, and I won't be getting a revolution until it's on sale for like 75 bucks anyway.
Channler
Yea, I've owned from a NES all the way to GC and even all the handhelds too, I'll prob still buy one of these but...

Come on Alex, even you should know that changes aren't bad, however huge leaps are testy...

Personally I like the controller.

But any way, about the fighting games, the controllers have d-pad-like buttons on them, so maby they could use those without the motion tracking, or it could just use the motion tracking to move your character and the buttons for attacks.
Haw
It sounds quite intreging (sp?) to me. However, if using it, we won't be able to move around in our collective seats, reach for our collective drinks etc. That could be quite awkard. Also, gamers will end up with aching arms from holding it up. Perhaps a 'traditional' contoller should be made availible as an extra for those poor people with sore arms? And the thought of what it could do to my thumbs is horrendus, I like having my hands sit loosly around my controller, not tensed up and scrabbling to reach buttons. Presumably the buttons near the bottom are worked by the opposite hand which would mean I would need to hold said hand in position rather than rest it around a support. For inovation and superior control I think it's great. For reletivly long gaming sessions and the long term happiness of my hands...I don't know.
ShogunSniper
they said on G4TV that you could get a traditional controllor that hooked into it play other games and stuff......
