-If an enchant is a constant effect, will there be a toggle for it, or a special button to activate the enchant on the swing, so you don't have to have a ton of weapons on you just cos you don't want to waste enchants on a particualr type of enemy?
-Glow, how and will it be implemented? I know its just for looks, but imo it ruined most weapon and armor looks in MW. You'd be all sparkly light a lantern, even if you were a theif character.

They said glow will be much more subtle. Possibly like in no-glo, where it was only lit up if it was foggy or underwater.

1. Weapons will work when they strike, clothing will have constant effect. You have to manually recharge your tiems with soulgems as well, and soul-gems will be much more common.
2. Right, as stomache ache said, subtle glow, nothing weird and annoying, but they'll look cool when enchanted.

Ah awsome, so I guess I won't be naming my char Xmastree after all.
I'm not sure wether I like the non-auto-recharge of enchants or not, I guess we'll have to see how it's done.

Constant effect items will not require recharging (smart move; that would be tedious); weapons will require recharge. Since they will be providing filled soulgems as general loot, it shouldn't be too difficult to keep them recharged. There's no enchanting skill, so you probably won't lose a lot of soulgems by failing at recharging. One thing recharging will do is make the PC think a lot more about which weapon to use for what kind of enemy, and whether they are worth an enchanted weapon or not.

Damn that was exactly what I was afraid of, no humiliating unworthy foes with my black hands dagger in this sequel either

i just hope that when an enchanted weapon runs out of charge it doesnt make that annoying noise every time you hit something like in MW

Yeah that was annoying, maybe instead there will be like a sparkley effect. Like sparks will jump all over the weapon, something like that.

hmm I can see the problems with this. mayb the weapon just doesn't change appearance or anything and the effect just isn't cast. in other words it jsut begins acting like a normal weapon. hard to say, i never quite understood the carging aspect other than it is a balancing aspect.
