Well, I have been going over some of the Role-Play in the Forums here, and the stories are wonderful, but they seem to be composed of little more then a few sentences per character.

At my older site NationStates (which I still visit, but my RP is reduced to writing Sethyas Velas) our RP was a bit different, in that we would write entire paragraphs and chapters at a time, rather then the more brief versions taken place here.

Don't get me wrong! I'm not dissing the version taken place here!

I am suggesting that the writers here whom also RP might be up for something closer to the version that I am used to, instead of constantly trying to find the great interactions taken place in these stories, that are largely overshadowed by the larger plots taking place, why not make those interactions the central focus in quick short stories co-written by two or more authors, with larger posts being written in turns?

The stories would not affect the actual other fics going on, but rather would exist parallel to them, and we could all finally see how our great characters interact in an open enviroment!

Sounds like something I would be interested in. Count me in!

I was meaning to bring up something like this, only it would've been mor fan fic oriented than RP oriented. So yea, I'm definitely interested in doing this.

A fan fic oriented RP of this style would be interesting.

You've got my vote Blackie that's for sure!

Sounds nice and I am thinking of joining but I want to focus on the Clash for now. Which by all means, sounds like something similar. smile.gif
Taillus
mmm good call Jack. Maybe I should focus more on Clash. I want it to be a total success unlike last time so for now I will be even neglecting my own Fanfic for now until Clash gets a good foothold.
Lord Revan

Sounds fun, I might join later on though......

Yeah, I was saying that this sounds interesting, but I can't make commitments--except perhaps my upcoming winter break in December. I also think seeing the Clash through first should be a priority.

I´m interested of course! So count me in, though I´m going away next week but I´d like to join this , that´s for sure!

Bah, NatioStates sucks, CyberNations is better.

You can RP whatever way you like, no one is going to stop you. However the version we use offers more character interaction over plot. Which is better in my opinion.

I don't like cybernations, because when I made a country it told me my citizens wanted a fascist nation, and I was like, "Screw that, I want a nation of hippie anarchocommunists, not nazis" so I quit.

Anyway anyone who's seen me roleplay knows I'm a fan of long winded turns, so yeah despite how frequently I've disappeared from RPs (and how abruptly) I tend to agree, long RP posts > short ones
