Many of us are having the same intermittant but frequent problem of getting an error when navigating Chorrol. It says the server is busy and/or asks us to log in. Leaving the site and coming back often fixes it but sometimes takes several attempts. A possible cause might be the large number of 'guest' bots that our old server can't handle. There are apparently some things that can be done but we need stargelman for that. I’ve notified him of the situation and will advise when I have any more to report.

Thanks for the notification, Acadian. It has become a nuisance and hopefully we can find a fix or at least a band aid for the problem smile.gif

Also; I think the year on this thread is slighty off... wink.gif

Thanks, year fixed. tongue.gif

There are bots visiting here? blink.gif I must say, I am surprised. I would not have thought this to be the kind of forum that would be of interest to bots. I mean, there's nothing to buy or to sell, they can't advertise here, there aren't any booby mods... tongue.gif So what are they after? Is there a way to see what they are polling? Perhaps locking those popular threads could serve as a band-aid?
Acadian
I suspect they are AI bots who vacuum up posted data. Using stories and such to train AI.
