I am curious. Do the cobwebs and the like ever get cleaned up in Fort Dawnguard, or is it like that throughout the entire questline? I have never done more than a few quests from the Dawnguard side until now, and I am curious. If it is always going to be this grungy, I will probably use a mod to clean it up, or make one myself.

I am not really sure. It
does change, but I am not entirely sure if cobwebs get specifically cleaned up. I've never really noticed.
The place changes quite a bit though. This is not the spoiler section so I'll go ahead and tell you the rest in spoiler-mode:
FD starts to grow in size. More NPCs start filling the place, too. New walls are put up, as well as places where more guards can stand around and protect the main castle area.

I finished the DG questline with Corcaigh and they never got cleaned. It bothered me too.

I forgot to reply!

Thanks a lot guys. I decided to go with the Fort Dawnguard clean-up mod after all. Really, these guys cannot be bothered to ever pick up a broom?

I just got this image of Isran teaching Agmaer to sweep.
-sweep x1-
"Not bad, boy. Try it again."
-sweep x1-
And et cetera...

Castle Volkihar could also use a scrubbing. That place is a mess. I mean, have vampires never heard of arterial spray? You would think that immortals would learn to eat a little neater.
