obviously each weapon has its own default attack speed... but is there any way to increase the attack speed of a bow or melee weapon through enchantments or character attributes, etc.? what was it like in morrowind?
thanks in advance, non-matrix

or maybe with alchemy you could brew up a potion that would make you temporarily faster?

There weren't any attributes or effects that altered your attack speed in Morrowind. Don't believe there are any in Oblivion either.

I doubt it as well, but it would be cool to be able to fire a bow like a machine gun.
Maybe someone will make a mod...

Maybe no machine guns, but you could make a rocket launcher using a staff and an AOE fire spell! =)
If there is a modifier, perhaps you'll do better the higher you raise the weapon skill. Ya know, thinking about the perks system they added...maybe they included attack speed too.
