What is the point of this poll? Well, it's for a change in my screen name, of course! I figure, now that I'm a master (and have been for a little while) It's about time to shed my old skin and become a new installment of myself. What is DoomedOne, anyway? It makes no sense at all. Am I doomed for any particular reason? Does it serve any purpose? No!

In a true democratic sense, based on the results of this poll at the end of this month (end of of July-ish), stargelinho will automatically and unilaterally change my name to the highest scoring result, without my permission. This is to ensure everyone that I am not like certain world rulers and certain presidents who hold these democratic events and then make decisions themselves anyway, based on deep routed corruption in the computerized voting systems. Um, where was I? oh right...

So if you have another name idea that you like, and want it to be posted up there, you'll notice there is no "other" option, this because if you have an idea, you are to abstain from voting, and request the name here, then if another member second's the idea, I will make a formal request that it is added.

Lastly, there are three questions, and if it isn't self explanatory, you get three votes, first choice, second and third.

Note: If you like the way I'm handling this election, please remember to vote for me in the US presidential election in roughly 16-20 years. I'll provide fake IDs for those people overseas so you can vote too, just DON'T STEAL ALL OUR JOBS! Honor system!

As for the one's you have posted to be voted on i would say D 1 Apotheosis but spelled out as in
DoomedOne Apotheosis or DoomedOne the Apotheosis sounds realy cool.

1. Because apotheosis was the name of a chiller at a different forum I used to go to before my political opinion made it so i couldn't ever say two words before being flamed to hell and back.

2. Thank you for the suggestions, sir. They're a bit long, though.

3. Maybe dantrag is onto something, we don't necessarily need anything that relates to DoomedOne at all. I have ghost one up there because Ghostman is the name of a chiller comic book character I made up a while ago, I wouldn't mind the name ghostman.

4. I elect Minque to the head of the DoomedOne's new name committee, just because. So, thank you minque for allowing me to volunteer you. (I think she's doing it to work off a gambling debt) I hope you all enjoy the privilige of being allowed to damn someone to a chosen nick name which they shall bear for the entirety of there stay at this mini-community, or at least the illusion of such a choice since I'm bound to corrupt the final result anyway.

Anyway I honestly voted that you should keep it the same as first choice, then as second I (naturally) voted Doomey, since I have a habit of changing peoples nicks according to that style (Wolfie, Tellie and so on)

1. Keep it the same - the name is your trademark (hey, I am just doing this Brazilian Milan Baros thing untill the end of WC, because Stargelihno needs an all-round, agile player in the midfield )

...but seriously, I'd keep it the same if I was you. Maybe you could split it into 2 words and have your nick read "Doomed One", as in, The One Who Is Doomed ?

I would keep it the same, but Doomed is pretty good. Ultimate name should have been Doom.

Radont, you know I'm not one to base someone's character on their post count, nor do I think this forum should go the way many others have, as to the level of prestige being a mere number. I believe this forum should be a place where people are given respect based on the merit of what they have to say, no how often they talk.
