I will post the next three chapters here, but so far, I only have three typed. Enjoy it, as I probably wont have the next two chapters typed in a while.
Chapter Three: The Family Seal.
(Cascus)
My name is Cascus. I come from the Cines family, a family that once was a powerful and honorable family. But one day, my family was disgraced by my brother. He left the knightly order of Raven, in Dwynnen, of High Rock, and joined a Daedric cult. And one day, he returned, leading hundreds of Daedra. That night, the entire district of my town was destroyed. Except for the family mansion. This is why the people hate us now. They think its suspicious that only our house stood. And that the army was lead by my brother. That night, I vowed to search him out, and bring him justice.
I walked down the hall to my guild dorm. Along the way, people glared at me. One even called me a swine. I ignored them as I always do. But I put up with this every day. I walked into my room. I looked above the fire place, where my guild seal hung. The seal was an emblem of two Imperial dragons, bounded together by a ribbon. But one of the heads was missing, after my brother broke it in a fight with my dad. That was the day my brother left. The room had been cleaned, so I knew that Ellone had been in here today. She left a note as well. It said on it:
“ Deer Cascus Cines
I cleaned your room for you, but you could thank me later. You shouldn’t live like such a slob. You know that rats are attracted by messy rooms.
Anyways, I met a young woman, who requested your attendance. She wants to meet up with you in the Dragon and Rock inn.
~Ellone”
Why would anybody want to meet with me? Whatever the reason, I changed out of my training cloths, which were drenched with sweat. I put my silver long sword at my side. I didn’t need my shield, as the Inn was only on the other side of the street from the guild.
There was an Imperial guard at the entrance. I walked up to him. He asked
“Are you Cascus Cines?”
“Yes, I am.”
“Please enter.” He said, stepping off to the side.
As I walked into the Inn, I noticed no one was there except a girl with long blonde hair and two guards that stood next to her. She looked over and waved.
“Where is everyone? This Inn is normally full of people at this time of the day.” I said.
“We rented the place until we finish with it. Can’t really talk to you if there’s people listening.”
“Alright, what do you want?”
She walked over and sat on a stool at the table next to me. “Come and sit.” I shut the door and sat down.
“My name is Victoria. You know, your more hansom than I you would be.” She said.
“Why does she have to do this every time?” muttered one of the guards.
“So what do you want?” I asked, getting frustrated.
“Oh, sorry. Anyways, the Emperor requested you to come on a quest. I’ve heard about your family. This could be your one chance to clear your family’s name.”
“I’m sorry, I’m not interested.” I said.
“But where else could you go? You cant stay here forever.”
“I don’t care.”
I got up and walked toward the door. But before I got there, she said something that stopped me right in my tracks.
“We have information about your brother.”
I turned around and waited.
“He is alive. But at the same time, He isn‘t.”
“That doesn’t make since at all.”
“It will if you come with us”
“…Okay. I agree.”
“I knew you wou” “However” I said interrupting.
“If I encounter him along the way, I will do anything necessary to kill him. Even if that means abandoning the mission.”
“Okay, I understand”
I walked back to my room to pack a few things before I left. I ate a quick meal, and wrote a letter to Ellone, thanking her for all her hard work. I put my shield on my back. And as I walked out, I found myself looking the seal again. And without thinking, I put it into my bag. It was now time to forge a new name. Not for my family, but for myself. The one that will track down my brother, and destroy him.

Sorry about the wait everyone. Ill get chapter 5 tomarrow.
Chapter 4: For the Empire
(Locke)
My name is Locke. I’m 32 years old. I am a member of the Blades, and as a member, I serve the emperor as his eyes, ears, and hands in the empire. I was charged with the task of recovering an artifact known as the Akaraishen (Dragon stone key), along with my assigned partner, Dorrog, an Orc who was raised in the civilized world. I also had to find a temple priestess and a warrior with an unknown past. Why the Emperor needed them, I don’t know. But the Moth Priest claims that they will play an important role in the quest to return the artifact. Along with my assigned partner, we have to escort them to the Imperial capital.
The climate had shifted again. We left the green fields just out side of the Dragon tail mountains, and entered the deserts that covered the rest of Hammerfell. Then it shifted once again to forests, as we entered Cyrodiil. There have been very little problems so far (Except, An’ Jirr tried to escape several times). The path through the forest was starting to show signs of recent care. We were approaching the small village of Sergoth. The village had an Inn. Since it was mid evening, we decided to stop.
We arrived in town, and I took Kai, Kane, and Isabel to the inn, while Durog and An’ Jirr took the horses into the stable. I approached the manager.
“Do you have six beds available?” I asked.
“We have three rooms, but one room has only one bed. But it’s a double bed.” He replied.
“That’s okay, I don’t sleep.” Kai said.
“Well, that solves that problem.” The manager said, laughing.
“I will sleep in the same room as An’ Jirr.” Dorrog said, walking into the room.
“I have to make sure he doesn’t escape.”
“That’s not fair! Making me sleep with the fat Orc…” An’ Jirr said, walking toward us.
“Oh my. An Orc that wears the clothes of a man? Interesting.” The Manager said. I could tell, he didn’t mean to be racist. But it was understandable, considering that Orcs have a reputation of being a very hostile, uncivilized people. It wasn’t common to see them walk among the other races. I turned to the Argonian, who tugged on my sleeve.
“Do you have a request?” I asked him.
“Larger beds are more likely to contain bugs. This one will sleep in a smaller bed.”
“Then I guess that means I’ll take the double bed.” Isabel said, needlessly smiling as usual.
“Rooms one, three, and four are available. They’re all in the same hall.” The manager said, handing us three keys.
The sky became cloudy. It looked like it was about to rain. I went outside into an alley between the inn and an alchemy store. It was outside of the room where Dorrog and An’ Jirr were staying. I could hear them talking to each other. Dorrog glanced out the window and saw me outside.
“I’m locking you in for a while.” He said. He shut the door and locked it. As he walked down the hall, An’ Jirr suspiciously said “Take your time”.
Dorrog walked outside and into the alley where I was.
“So your sure that these are the people that the Moth Priests where talking about?” Dorrog asked.
“They fit the description perfectly.”
The wind blew, but it was a strange hollow gust. I heard a laugh along with it. I knew exactly who it was. A figure appeared in a dark cloak. He wore his mask as usual.
“What do you want? I thought your kind couldn‘t come out during the daytime.” I said
“As long as the sun isn’t directly shining on me, I can go anywhere I want. And its just cloudy enough for me to be out.” He answered.
“So you were eavesdropping?” Dorrog asked.
“There’s no need to be defensive, we all work for the Emperor. I just came to see how you were doing. I may be immortal, but even I can be impatient.”
“So why are you so excited about this mission?” I asked.
“I’ve become much stronger than I was in when I fought in the Akaviri wars. Even though most of my power was sealed away by the Daedric princes in the second era, I still remain much more powerful than I was then. And if the one who gave me this curse is still alive, I will kill him.” He said. He disappeared slowly.
The window to An’ Jirr’s room opened, and he jumped out. He shouted “Freedom!” But he didn’t realize until after he shouted, that he was in-between me and Dorrog. We both grabbed each arm and walked him back inside. Kai, Kane, and Isabel were sitting at a table. We locked An’ Jirr in my room, where there were no windows. Dorrog set a stool in front of the door to keep guard.
I sat down and ordered a drink. Aside from a Dark Elf in the corner, and the manager, we were the only ones in the Inn at the moment. It started to rain outside. I looked over at the Dark Elf. His red eyes were looking in the direction of the door. A group of four walked into the room. A Nord, Two Imperials (One with a beard), and a Breton. They each had concealed weapons, but I was still able to make them out. The walked over to the Dark Elf. They were whispering, but with my level of training, I could still hear them with my level of training.
“You’re the one they call Ash Wind, Aren’t you? The Nord asked, reaching for his dagger.
“So what if I was?” the Dark Elf asked.
“We don’t like freelance assassins.” the Nord said.
I could tell these were assassins of the Dark Brotherhood. I shouldn’t get involved. The Blades and the Dark Brotherhood have had far from friendly relations. And fighting a member of the Dark Brotherhood was a completely different fight than a normal person. They were highly trained in Khajiit martial arts.
“If you join us, we would gladly accept you. However, if you want to die, then refuse.”
“I choose death” Ash Wind said. Right before the Nord could attempt to unsheathe his dagger, Ash slashed upward with his tanto, cutting deep into the Nord’s chest. The other assassins jumped back. He jumped over the table, and landed on a chair, tipping it over. As he landed, he got a solid footing position and held his tanto back handed. He was holding something in his other hand. He was waiting for them to make the next move.
The Breton came charging in, and jumped, trying to kick Ash Wind in the face.. Though the Dark Elf countered by lifting the Breton’s leg, causing him to fall. The back of his head slammed into the floor. The other two assassins circled him. The bearded Imperial ran toward him, but this was only a distraction, as the other threw his knife. The Dark Elf ducked, evading the knife, and through sand in the bearded Imperial’s eyes. Then he turned to the last one. He stepped on the assassin’s foot and with his left hand, he grabbed the collar of the Assassin’s shirt. He grabbed the sleeve with his right hand and through him down. He turned to the temporarily blind assassin.
“Get out of my way.” He said, pushing him to the floor. He walked out the door and left. The two imperial assassins carried the unconscious Breton outside and left as well, leaving the dead Nord.
“Well, don’t see things like that everyday in a small town like this.” the Manager said in shock.
Kai shrugged and sat down. Dorrog offered to bury the Nord. I went to my room and unlocked the door. An’ Jirr was mumbling to himself and pretended not to notice me come in. He was saying something about moon sugar. I closed the door and locked it.
“What was that noise outside?” he asked.
“The Dark Brotherhood made an attempt to assassinate someone. I’m going to sleep, so don’t try to slit my throat in my sleep, or even touch me, as I would instinctively kill you.” I told him.
His eyes grew large with alarm and fear. He laid down and covered himself with his bed sheets. I put all of my weapons under my bed. We should reach our destination by the end of the week.

Chapter four: Lonely nights
(Kai)
I stayed with Isabel until she fell asleep. After that, I went into the Inn lobby. The manager must have gone to bed. The only light in the room was from a dim candle. I sat down next to the broken window I was sitting next to during the fight. The blood stains were already cleaned up. The room was silent. I hate night time after everyone else goes to sleep. Its way to silent. I have to wait for sun rise, and when night is as dark and quiet as it was this night, it feels like an eternity.
The silence was broken by a group of loud local drunks gathering in front of the inn. Well, they weren’t really drunk, but they sounded like it at first. I found this even more annoying than the complete silence. I tolerated the noise, but what happened next really pissed me off.
A short, strange, creature I was not familiar with walked by. It had a dirty brown cloak on. Under that, it had a face resembling a toad. It also smelled really bad as well. But this creature was minding its own business, and the crowd walked up to it and began harshly insulting it. It ignored them and continued walking. One of the guys picked up the creature and turned it to face him.
“Do you think your better than us, Sload?” he said coldly.
“Just pretend I’m not here. I have something important to do, and to do it, I must pass through your lands”
“And what gives you that right?” he said.
I knew this would end in violence, so I grabbed my katana. Then they threw the Sload down and began kicking it. This really pissed me off.
“Hey!” I shouted, slamming the door open. Then I unsheathed my katana, and ran toward them.
“Run, the kid’s insane!” They ran, leaving the Sload on the ground.
I walked up to the Sload. It got up on its feet and looked up at me.
“Sorry about that.” I said, ignoring his odor.
“Its not your fault that the people here are so full of hate.” he said.
“I know, but some how, I feel like I am some how responsible.”
“The only thing that I’m angry about is that I was reborn as a Sload. You have it lucky being reborn as a creature from Tamreil.”
“Reborn?”
“Yes, what, did you lose your memory?”
“Well, yes, but I don’t have perfect memory like your kind.”
“Just because I’m in a Sload body, doesn’t make me a Sload.”
“Then what are you?”
“I am what you are. I’m on my way to Akavir. I must get to the reunion. You should be on your way too.”
The Sload walked off, turning himself invisible to not be seen by the villagers. I sat down. I stared at the sky, wandering what was going on in Akavir. Then, in that moment, I had this powerful feeling. Like I need to go there. I was thinking, if I went there, I could get an Idea of who I was. But I couldn’t leave now. I will leave after I get to Cyrodiil.

Where does it say that? Maybe a misprint. Do you mean when Dorrog locks the door to his room? I didnt mean he locked the door to the entire inn.
Edit: Also note that theres no real main character. Every chapter is told by a different character. (It says the character thats telling it in the parenthesies under the chapter number).

Ah, okay. It's been awhile, so my memory may be foggy. I think Dorrog saw the main character, who was outside the window. Then, Dorrog locked the Khajiit (right?) inside the house or whatever in order to go out and talk to the main character.
I think that's the scene you were talking about?

Alright. Im finaly done typing chapter six. And Im still writting chapter ten (one of the far longer/more intresting chapters.)
Chapter six: The calm before the storm
(Waits for the Red Moon [AKA: Kane])
<Writer’s note: Kane’s translation is loosely translated, as he doesn’t speak much English>
I am called Waits for the Red Moon in my tribe. But the warm bloods call me Kane. I left my tribe in search of knowledge and strength to defend my people from the dark skinned Elvin slavers of Morrowind. I traveled North to the lands known as Hammerfall. While I was hunting in the Dragon tail mountains, I was captured by a gold skinned Elf named Darroll. Nine days later, I was freed by a Redguard named Locke, along with two others. I now travel with them to there destination.
It has been several nights after the events of the small town. The land around us grew less natural and more artificial. The sun was warm, and the birds where chirping as we went through the forest trail. We stopped to eat. I ventured out to a large creek with large rocks along the bay. But while there, I could smell a Daedra. Then I smelled a human.
“There you are!” Isabel yelled, surprising me.
“Be quiet Isabel.” Kai said, coming out of the bushes after Isabel.
“Why? What’s wrong?” She whispered.
“There’s something near.” He said.
He could smell it too. He wasn’t like others of his race. He was more disciplined, more aware of his surroundings. It did seem strange to me why he was, but it didn’t bother me much.
“It’s a Clanfear. We should be able to take it.” Kai said
We moved to the center of a clearing ahead of us. Isabel’s heavy breathing was enough to attract it. I heard it move through the bushed. I raised my spear. It moved closer. I raised the spear over my head. This first attack wasn’t to kill the Daedra, but to surprise it, giving me the advantage. When it came close enough, I brought my spear down and hit it over the head.
“Ouch!” A voice came, just as I was about to jab my spear in for the second attack. An’Jirr came from the bushes. His hands on top of his head.
“Why did you do that?!”
“What are you doing sneaking around like that!” Kai said.
“I was following you!”
“Could we stop yelling?” Isabel asked.
Then something jumped out of the bushes at Kai. He reacted by slashing his blade into the Clanfear.
“There! Its dead, and we found Kane. Lets go back.” Kai said, wiping the blood from his sword.
We walked back to the wagon, dragging An’Jirr. Locke looked up at us.
“So you guys found him. We’re running late. We should get going.” Locke said.
“Yes, lets get going. We’ve spent far to much time here.”
The wagon continued on its way. An’Jirr continued to complain about his life. Kai appeared to be asleep, but he wasn’t. He was just tired. He sleeps gets that way when he stays up for more than three days. Isabel asked me.
“Can you tell me about yourself? I want to know about your home. In the Black Marsh.”
“Why does it want to know?”
“Well, you never tell me anything about your self. I am just curious.”
I remained quiet. She continued to look at me, and I could tell that she would not stop until she got a response.
“This one comes from the Blue sun tribe in Argonia. My tribe was attacked by slavers.”
“Hey. Your starting to speak our language better. Just remember to use “I” when you refer to yourself, and when your talking about some one else, use “HE” if it’s a boy, and “SHE” if it’s a girl. You should only use “IT” if your referring to things that don’t have a gender.”
“Too much to remember” I said.
“Oh, sorry. So why did you leave?”
“I left to find ways to protect them. I need strength to hold back the invaders.”
She looked at me in a weird way.
“There are other ways to solve things than violence. Just try to reason with them” she said.
“They won’t listen to us. They think of us as animals without souls.”
“That’s stupid…” Kai said. He opened his eyes.
“How could anything be alive with out a soul?” He continued.
His question remained unanswered.
“So what about you, An’Jirr? What happened to get you into the Imperial High courts?” Isabel asked.
“I’d rather not talk about it.” He replied.
“Come on. You couldn’t shut up just a few minutes ago.” Kai said.
“He stole an artifact from a temple.” Dorrog said.
“I stole it to protect it!” An’Jirr yelled.
“Wait. What did he steal?” Isabel asked.
“The Hiensemane.” Locke said.
“And what exactly is that?” Kai asked.
“The Hiensemane is a crystal that is highly enchanted. It is rumored to give the one who wields it intense powers.” Dorrog answered.
“It is an item so powerful, it had to be sealed away to protect it.”
“Which is exactly why my friends couldn’t let Duke Winston get his hands on it.”
“To tell the truth, I believe your side of the story, but I’m not the one is going to decide who is guilty or not.” Dorrog said.
“So how much longer till we reach the capital?” Kai asked.
“By tomorrow.” Locke said.
“So, I heard things aren’t going so well in Daggerfall. What’s going on down there?” Dorrog said, changing the topic.
“I don’t really know. Lots of rumors are flying over the city. At night, we hear the dead rise and walk the streets. Many think that the end of the world is coming. My sister transferred me to the temple in Skyrim for my own safety.”
“Wow. Do you think it could be a daedric prince?” Dorrog said.
“I don’t know. That’s one of the many rumors going around. I hope my sister is okay.”
Writer's note: I have been writing another book on my free time thats a prequel to this one. Its about the events in An'Jirr's past that got him into the trouble he's in right now.

Anyway, Andric, awesome job. Just be careful with the whole conversation stuff. I can't always identify who's saying what all the time. But that could be just me, and it was only a tiny bit of it, so, uh, good job! :goodjob: Continue writing and *gives cake*!

Er, I have a bad memory when it comes to multiple characters and different POV's, so that maybe why. (I'm not used to that.) The thing is, my mind cannot switch main characters so easily, because I'm used to
one character's POV and that's the only POV I can remember (which is hard enough). Especially when it's an interesting character(s_. I then forget the rest of the other characters (not on purpose, though!). :ashamed:
Not to mention I read multiple stories, so I sometimes forget lots of stuff.
Question to Andric:
“It is an item so powerful, it had to be sealed away to protect it.”
“Which is exactly why my friends couldn’t let Duke Winston get his hands on it.” <--Who was saying that? Was that Kai? (If he's referring something to the past, let me know which chapter/POV the 'friends' and 'Duke Winston' were mentioned, because I don't remember).
“I don’t really know. Lots of rumors are flying over the city. At night, we hear the dead rise and walk the streets. Many think that the end of the world is coming. My sister transferred me to the temple in Skyrim for my own safety.” <-- that's Kai, right? (Sorry, again, fuzzy memory!)
I think I may have to re-read your story, Andric, due to my horrible memory.
